NEW LD and LDN SERIES LOBBY DAMPER LAUNCHED.
The LD and LDN Series Smoke Control Dampers have been designed and tested (EN1366-10) for smoke evacuation and control within lobbies to maintain conditions in the common escape routes in the event of fire and are installed within smoke shafts constructed in either dry wall or masonry/concrete.
LD Series Dampers are designed to work with fan powered extract systems, pulling air through the damper and into the extract shaft.
LDN Series Dampers are designed for natural (stack effect) ventilation which requires a minimum area of 1.5m2 to comply with current standards and Approved Document B specification.
Both the damper and sleeve have visible internal surfaces with a matt black finish.
Both LD and LDN Dampers are supplied with a matched decorative grille that limits visibility to the rear damper whilst proving good free area satisfying both engineering and architectural requirements.
The Easy Fix™ grilles are affixed with supplied concealed matching fixings and form part of the fully tested solution.
